RT.4c - European Union R&D update

The Commission of the European Union has invested heavily in Research and Development of new approaches to electricity networks though Framework 5 and Framework 6. The results and progress of this research will be reviewed and considered in the context of international initiatives. A particular point of discussions will be alternative visions of active networks and integration of DG.
